div− — price made a higher high while Binance CVD did not (rally without real buying) · div+ — lower low in price, higher low in CVD (selling without follow-through) · a divergence is a warning, not an entry: look for a level, a wall on the heatmap, or a delta flip before acting

What is a price↔CVD divergence?

A divergence is a disagreement between price and aggressive flow: price prints a new extreme, but cumulative volume delta refuses to confirm it. A higher high without real buying behind it (div−) tends to be a rally on fumes; a lower low while sellers are actually retreating (div+) is pressure without follow-through. Both mark spots where the move's fuel gauge disagrees with its speedometer.

How the table works

Every 30 seconds the server re-scans 1-minute swings (±6 bars) on BTC and ETH against Binance CVD — the exact detector that draws the div+ / div− arrows on the CVD chart. Fresh signals (under 15 minutes) are highlighted; clicking a symbol opens the live chart at that pair so you can judge the context immediately.

What to check before acting

A divergence earns attention only with confluence. Is there a real level behind the signal — the previous day's value area, a wall on the liquidity heatmap? Is the footprint showing absorption or a delta flip at the same price? Is it the first divergence of the move or the third against a trend that keeps going? One warning is noise; a warning at a defended level is a trade idea.

FAQ

Are these buy and sell signals?

No. A divergence is a warning that the current move lacks flow behind it. In strong trends divergences stack and fail repeatedly — treat the table as a watchlist trigger, not an entry service.

How quickly do new signals appear?

The detector works on confirmed 1-minute swings, which need six closed bars after the extreme. So a signal lands roughly six to ten minutes after the actual top or bottom — and once listed it never repaints.

Why only BTC and ETH?

Those are the pairs our collector currently streams tick-by-tick. More pairs are planned; the detector itself is symbol-agnostic.

Which CVD is used for detection?

Binance futures CVD — the deepest of our feeds. The same detector draws the arrows on the CVD chart, so the table and the chart always agree.
